Who We Are

About Team 21 Studios

Team 21 Studios grew from a university capstone into a founder-led indie studio with one clear goal: ship standout games through focused craft and consistent execution.

Started With a Project. Built Into a Studio.

Team 21 Studios LLC began as a senior capstone group at the University of Nevada, Reno. What started as a class project became something much larger — Nexulum was built for UNR’s Innovation Day and took home Best Overall Class Project. That win validated the team’s direction and turned a student prototype into a long-term commitment.

After graduation, the team formalized as Team 21 Studios LLC — member-managed and self-funded. That structure keeps creative control close to development, so decisions can be made quickly and quality standards stay high as the studio grows.

🏆 Award-Winning Origin

Nexulum won Best Overall Class Project at UNR Innovation Day — validated before we ever called ourselves a studio.

🏛 Member-Managed LLC

Fully incorporated and founder-led. Every person at the table has a stake in what we build.

💰 Self-Funded

Built on the founders’ own investment. Independent by design — beholden only to the game and the players.

🎮 Passion-Driven

We are building Nexulum because we believe in it. That conviction shows in every system, every asset, every update.
