Team 21 Studios is a self-funded, founder-led LLC — built from the ground up by the people making the game. We started as a senior capstone group at UNR, won Best Overall Class Project at Innovation Day with Nexulum, and incorporated because we knew this was worth seeing through. Every dollar in this studio comes from the founders themselves.
Because of that, all collaborator positions are currently structured as revenue-share arrangements. Compensation is tied to the commercial success of the game — meaning when Nexulum earns, you earn. Your contribution is not speculative filler work; it becomes part of a title that already has a demo, a trailer, and a growing audience.
What you get from day one: a professional studio environment, full credit on a soon-to-be-shipped commercial title, real production pipeline experience, and a defined revenue-share percentage that is yours to keep. You work alongside founders who are deeply invested — financially and personally — in making this the best it can be.
